What is Creativity? :

Creativity is a unique slant on something, to make it original, exciting and new. It is an original idea or an inspirational retake on something already done before. It's thinking outside of the box or channelling an outside influence in a unique way, expressing yourself and evolving with the changing times.

Definition Of Creativity (Oxford English Dictionary)

(mass noun)
The use of imagination or original ideas to create something; inventiveness.
‘firms are keen to encourage creativity’

Lets Discuss...

I don't fully agree with Oxford's definition of creativity. Creativity is such a subjective thing, it can be applied in so many ways. It can be born out of an original idea and modified or totally unique. The actual act of being creative is something that should be as broad and open as possible and not defined or restricted in any way. This is where I feel the dictionary definition is too restrictive and not open enough. Although the two definitions are similar, I think mine is a little more Representative of how wide the word 'creative' reaches.
