There is lots of evidence of the 'Swifti fandom' there every where, from blogs, websites, to full blown meet ups on Facebook groups!

The pros to having pop stars as role models is that they always share a positive message that teach kids to do the same, however kids may see them selves a failures as they will most likely never live up to match there idol.

Hip hop music is so important to young black Americans because it was invented in the slave era, not just as a method to cope and express there suffering but as coded communication to wards each other in plane sight of overseers. As a way to devise there next escape or warn each other. After slavery black people no longer had to sing about there next escape. but oppression and suffering still continued so they kept on singing, as black plight evolved so did the music. Rapping evolved from the Blues, Blues evolved from spirituals. Today Rap is a form of expression for black people. Every black person con identify with it in some form or fashion its part of there culture and history.

Indie music inspires me because it calms me down, they are powerfully emotional, they spark emotion but don't talk about how there lives suck.

After speaking to my mum, who is 38, she said that Blur and the song Parklife played a significant in her youth. She explained “Blur was the first band that I really idolized and my group of friends loved the indie scene. When the song Parklife came out, it was catchy and a bit cheeky and we all thought it was cool. Listening to that genre shaped our friendship group and still remains one of my favourite songs to this day.”

I believe Justin Bieber is a good example of the dyer's star theory because he was completely run by the media, as a young boy he just did what he was told; therefor getting the media company's rich and forming Justin's star persona. The media helped him attract the right audience, and gave him his unique selling point (hair-flip) and developed him as his audience changed, he went from innocent boy band, to a hardened rapper like character to stay in the limelight in recent trends.

Subculture definition: a cultural group within a larger culture, often having beliefs or interests at variance with those of the larger culture. 

The Teddy boys are often associated with rock and roll music and where classic Edwardian suits and shiny satin shirts rock and roll allowed artists to speak on political issues and influence government. And it is credited with integrating the teens of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s and helping black artists get played on the very white radio. Rock 'n' roll has even influenced cultures in different parts of the world, especially Europe.

David Attenborough Is my media hero; he is a nature documentary maker that is committed to the conservation and protection of our natural world. His enthusiasm for nature is undiminished and he connects people of all ages. His passion for us to learn about our own world makes him a media hero.

Alfred Hitchcock became famous after his first film, "Blackmail", It was a one of the first thrillers that Britain and the rest of the world adored. He liked his films In great suspense; just like many producers today. I think many producers today idolise Alfred, this makes him a media hero. 

most of his films are in black and white, this makes him a classic noir director.
